-----------------

A special thank you is extended to Joan Earle Hahn, PhD, APRN, BC, CDDN for being the guest editor for this edition on evidence-based practice (EBP) in nursing for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We greatly appreciate the long hours that the authors spent in writing and revising their manuscripts and their willingness to share their vast expertise with nurses worldwide. We are especially thankful to Dr. Leonard Gibbs, to whom this issue of the journal is dedicated, for sharing his personal experience and knowledge of EBP with us in his letter to the editor. The work of the nurses who participated in doing blind peer reviews of the manuscripts and completing the book review on EBP in nursing is also greatly appreciated. Thank you to the College of Direct Support (www.collegeofdirectsupport.com) for sponsoring this publication as well as the last edition of the International Journal of Nursing in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IJNIDD)

We are extremely grateful for everyone's continued support of the journal.
